In this article Klaehn describes the propaganda model as proposed by Herman and Chomsky. Klaehn considers the many aspect of the propaganda model and gives the model a critical review, as shown in the title of the article. Klaehn weighs the pro and the contras and eventually suggest a flatten version of the propaganda model. This article is used in the thesis to set the propaganda model in a view of critical communication scientists.
