The author examines the experiences of correspondence operating in the Middle-East and describes the various obstacles and constraints within the international news production process. Besides examining the individual side of journalism practice, the organizational pressures and routines of the news production process is mentioned.

Individual perceptions, background, religion, and so on, can be of importance when examining the influences during the news reporting process. Organizational obstacles as well. The results presented in this article could be assigned to both regions.
