Peace journalism as a normative theory: Premises and obstacles.

Irvan, S. (2006). Peace journalism as a normative theory: Premises and obstacles. GMJ: Mediterranean Edition, 1(2),  34-39.

This article discusses, through a literature study, why it is easier for journalists to follow the official line of journalism, instead of practicing peace journalism. The article will explain this result with the obstacles peace journalism has. This article will contribute to my thesis, because it explains why peace journalism is hard to actually practice and it will explain in which situations peace journalism is a suitable alternative. This will give me a greater perspective of when peace journalism is effective and when it is not.
