Galtung can be seen as a one of the founders of peace journalism. Peace journalism can be defined according to four indicators: 1. avoiding antagonisms such as good and evil tagging, 2. a non-partisan approach, 3. a multi-party orientation and 4. avoids demonizing language. These four indicators are crucial in detecting peace journalism in conflict news coverage. This article is necessary for further exploring peace journalism as a concept.
