In this study the authors pointing out that NGOs are becoming multinational entities. Recently NGOs raised funds in the countries where they had been founded, nowadays they heavily rely on raising funds through their foreign affiliates. So they are speaking of the globalization of the donation market. Aldashev and Verdier (2009) are giving some economic models in their article.
This study is important because it shows how NGOs have developed global. The market for NGOs has been widen. And fundraising has become more a global activity.
